The Denver Broncos signed Peyton Manning to an eighty million dollar contract and then promptly traded Tim Tebow to the New York Jets along with a seventh round draft pick.
Tebow, in his rookie year, took over the quarterback duties in Denver after a their 1 - 4 start and led them into the playoffs, winning the first game.
He arrived in New York last evening fielding phone calls at a telephone conference in New York City. Tebow said the Jets were a great team and he was happy to play in New York. He iterated that he'd play hard and contribute where ever it would benefit the Jets organization most.
Mike Tannenbaum, the Jets General Manager, indicated that Tebow would be useful in their Wild Cat offense; created by former Dolphins head coach Tony Sparano. Tannenbaum also mentioned that the Jets had previously sign Mark Sanchez to a new three year contract and he was still their starting quarterback.

Peyton Manning
John Elway, Team Doctors and Principles fly out to Duke University in North Carolina today to take a good look at Peyton Manning. The Denver Broncos are offering Peyton a $60 Million contract on a five year deal if all goes well.
What about Tim Tebow? He has faith! Everything will workout fine. Peyton should prove to be an excellent mentor for Tebow. Is there any quarterback in the NFL who could teach him more?
This script is not finalized. The San Francisco Fourty-Niners are still at the bargining table.
